How Premier Book Store Will Stay

This weekend pleasantly learnt that Premier Book Store on the Church Street in Bangalore is not closing down for now, at least not till April 2007.

I do not know what exactly attracts me and many others to this store, which just stacks up the books from the ground right up to the roof. If you are inside the store with a backpack, I am sure you will bring down many books as soon as you turn by even 5 degrees. Apart from the generous discount the store offers, what is it that this book stores attracts the book lovers of Bangalore, is not something that can be captured in writing?

Happy after hearing the good news I bought the last copy (officially off the shelves) of the book How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life by Kavya Vishwanathan who was caught plagiarizing. The teenage author writes well, but should have resisted the temptation to spruce up the novel by plagiarizing.
